The 2nd Part of my Accident Story - Life or Death News Clippings

Today’s newspaper clippings were published on the 3rd, 8th and 10th September 2007. And for someone a breath away from death only 7 weeks prior, I ain’t looking too bad.
With the help from my daughter who, at the time, was doing her hairdressing apprenticeship I just had to get my hair dyed to hide the greys, and get back to the land of the living to take the reins of both my businesses’ from my hospital room.

The September 3rd edition states, “Pub fall landlady to write a book”. Well, that was the intention at the time, but life gets in the way and it’s taken me this long to share my story. I got there in the end, once I get an idea I will see it through, I just don’t set a date to finished it…. ;-)

In the September 8th edition, kind words from Spencer Feeney, were printed in the newspapers Editor’s Opinion page. I was still in Morriston Hospital when one of the nurses brought the newspaper in for me to have a look. The headline being “Amanda’s story is one of courage”.
I had, and never have, met this man and what he wrote was truly humbling to me. And if by chance he reads this, then I say a big “thank you”, to him.

Then on September 10th another nurse came into my room with the newspaper, to show me a small, but beautiful letter sent into The Evening Post’ Have You Say page. With the title “Inspiration to us all”.
I don’t know if I know the person who wrote and sent in the letter, or if they are male or female, but again I want to say,

“A big thank you to, C Williams”, for your heartfelt kind words.
